Beavers
Beaver Scouts are open to children aged from six to eight years old. At 17th, we make sure that the Beavers all have the most fun and enjoyable time in a safe environment.
The colony is managed by a group of adults and young leaders who all have lots of experience and always strive to provide the young people with valuable life skills while ensuring that they have a good time.
The Beavers participate in numerous activities both in the evenings (such as first aid, sports and crafting) and on day trips or camps (such as aquatic activities, cooking on fires and animal care). All of these activities lead to badges being earned which go on their uniform.
During evenings, the Beavers do activities as a whole colony to encourage making new friends and in Lodges (named after the natural habitat of a beaver). Each Lodge has a leader which gives the children opportunity to show leadership skills as well as listening to peers.
This is the Beaver Scout Uniform.
